(Woodland, CA) – December 14, 2017 Today, Robert Hodges pled guilty to all of the crimes in the complaint, including murdering his 3 children with special circumstances and attempting to murder his wife. He will be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The District Attorney carefully considered all of the factors in aggravation and mitigation under California law related to the punishment. Ultimately, the surviving family’s desire for a swift and certain conclusion to this heartbreaking case led us to the conclusion that this resolution was most appropriate. The defendant will die in prison.
The defendant will be sentenced on January 19, 2018, at 8:45 in Dept. 14.
