(Woodland, CA) – December 13, 2019 – On December 9, 2019, 23-year-old Woodland resident Douglas Woodall plead no contest to three separate felony convictions including Gross Vehicular Manslaughter while Intoxicated, Evading a Peace Officer and Conspiracy to Commit a Theft with an agreement to serve 12 years 4 months in prison.

On May 2, 2019, Woodall fled from police after serving as a getaway driver from a robbery in progress. Woodall fled north on Pioneer Road at speeds exceeding 113 miles per hour, running through stoplights and at the time having blood alcohol content of over .22, nearly three times the .08 the legal limit. Woodall crashed off of country Road 101 causing his passenger to be propelled out of the passenger side window where he died on impact nearly 40 yards away from the scene of the crash.

Woodall is scheduled to be sentenced by the Honorable Judge Janene Beronio on January 8, 2020, at 1:30 pm in Department 6 of the Yolo County Superior Courthouse.
