Cold Case Unit

The Yolo County District Attorney’s Office remains committed to all crime victims, even those who are still waiting for justice, long after the crimes are committed.

In June, 2019, the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office helped to organize the Yolo County Cold Case Task Force, a cooperative agreement among local law enforcement agencies. Our specially trained Cold Case Investigators work tirelessly with local, state and federal law enforcement using innovative investigative techniques in an effort to solve cases where the trail has gone cold. We utilize all available resources to solve the most serious crimes in which justice has yet to be served.

If you have information regarding an unsolved case, you may send your tips to: district.attorney@yolocounty.org  You may also leave an anonymous tip by calling *67 (530) 666-8180.  In many cold cases we may be missing one critical bit of information that could be the difference between justice served and justice denied.
