Free Onsite Shredding at the October 14 Event

(Woodland, CA) – October 7, 2015 – Yolo County District Attorney Jeff Reisig along with the Woodland Police Department and the State Bar of California announce the 8th Annual Yolo County Senior Resource & Crime Prevention Fair on October 14, 2015.

Fifty-six agencies and vendors will be on hand to distribute information about resources and services available to seniors in Yolo County, including Legal Services, In-Home Healthcare and Assisted Living. Speakers will provide information about how to avoid becoming a crime victim. District Attorney Jeff Reisig stated “We are committed to community outreach efforts that increase awareness to help prevent fraud-related crimes.”

Free continental breakfast will be provided by Atria Covell Gardens and free shredding is also available at the event.

The Resource Fair will be held at the Woodland Community Center, 2001 East Street, in Woodland. This free event runs from 9 am to noon.
