(Woodland, CA) – March 1, 2019 – Today 42-year-old Arizona man Buck Maldonado Thomas was arraigned in Yolo County Superior Court for multiple counts of sexual assault on two juvenile female victims. The complaint filed by the Yolo County District Attorney alleges the crimes to have occurred during the Summer of 2018 while Mr. Thomas was a batting coach for the victims, one from Loomis, California, and one from West Sacramento. This case was investigated by the West Sacramento Police Department in cooperation with the Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona.

The Office of the District Attorney believes that Mr. Thomas may have victimized other clients of his batting instruction business. The District Attorney’s office asks that anyone believing they have been victimized by Mr. Thomas to contact District Attorney Investigator, Jennifer Davis, at (530) 666-8180 so that any further incidents may be documented, investigated and prosecuted.

Mr. Thomas plead not guilty at his arraignment and a preliminary hearing was set for March 15, 2019 at 8:30 in Department 13 in front of Judge Paul Richardson. He is currently being held in the Yolo County Jail with bail set at $1 million.
