(Woodland, CA) – October 8, 2021 – The Yolo County District Attorney will hold its fifth virtual Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 6pm. The discussion and data point that will be discussed at this month’s meeting is domestic violence in recognition of October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

These one-hour monthly virtual town hall meetings, which began in June 2021, provide an opportunity to engage with local policy makers and criminal justice officials in an effort the ensure transparency by diving in to actual criminal justice data points and relevant topics. The data is gathered directly from a data transparency portal called Commons, which was created in partnership with the Yolo County District Attorney Multi-Cultural Community Council and Measures for Justice, a third party data collection team out of Rochester, NY, who manages the portal.
