The main office of the Yolo County District Attorney is located in Woodland, CA. Offices of some sub-units are located in Woodland and West Sacramento. These offices include: The Multi-Disciplinary Interview Center located in Woodland, investigators and deputized prosecutors located at the Yolo County Department of Child Support Services and Welfare Fraud Investigations located at the Yolo County Department of Employment and Social Services in both Woodland and West Sacramento.
Specialized units have been established to handle: auto theft cases, auto insurance fraud cases, bad check cases, child abduction cases, child abuse cases, consumer fraud cases, drug cases, elder abuse cases, environmental crime cases, gang cases, Hi-Tech computer crime cases, supplemental investigation of cases,sexual assault/domestic violence cases, statutory rape cases welfare fraud cases, worker’s compensation fraud cases and violence against women cases. Victim Services are also provided for at the main office.
