(Woodland, CA) – October 13, 2014 – Yolo County District Attorney Jeff Reisig announces the 7th Annual Yolo – Sacramento County Fraud Awareness Fair.

The Fraud Fair is an opportunity for members of the community to learn how to recognize, avoid and report the latest financial scams. State and local law enforcement agencies along with insurance and banking institutions will offer fraud prevention information, resources and training on how to avoid becoming a victim. District Attorney Jeff Reisig stated “We are committed to community outreach efforts, such as the Fraud Fair, that have proven effective in helping prevent fraud-related crimes from affecting citizens of Yolo County.”

If you are curious about how to avoid identity theft, contractor fraud, telephone scams or other swindles, cons and rip-offs, then this is the event for you.

Lunch will be available for purchase from Wicked West Pizza & BBQ.

The Fraud Fair will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at the City Hall Galleria, 1110 West Capitol Avenue in West Sacramento. This free event runs from 10 AM to 2 PM.
