(Woodland, CA) – April 19, 2017 – District Attorney Jeff Reisig announced today that 30-year-old Davis resident, Lauren Kirk-Coehlo, pled guilty this morning to all charges, including Felony Vandalism with a “Hate Crime” enhancement and Vandalism to a Church.
During the early morning hours of January 22, 2017, Kirk-Coehlo vandalized the Islamic Center of Davis. Surveillance video footage from the scene showed Kirk-Coehlo smashing six window panes at the Center, placing strips of bacon on the door handle and destroying two bicycles on the property.
The Honorable Dan Maguire will sentence Kirk-Coehlo on June 16, 2017 in Department 10 of the Yolo County Superior Court. Kirk-Coehlo is facing up to six years in prison.
