YCDA Elder Protection Unit met with Gordon Johnson from local GHS Interactive Security to discuss some of the measures alarm companies are using to allow senior citizens to live in their house longer. With alarm pendants, sensors for the refrigerator and medicine cabinet, in house cameras, and contact with emergency services over a live intercom, children can now have a peace of mind that their elder parents can be safe and secure in their home for years to come.
