The Yolo County District Attorney’s Office in collaboration with the Sacramento Better Business Bureau have produced the Protect Yourself From Service Scams video to warn the public about those who go door to door claiming they need to perform a service on your house. Often they say they work for the utilities company or cable company and gain easy access to your house in order to steal from you or have you sign up and give scam you out of money. Watch the video and take the quiz so that you can be better educated about this type of fraud.
